We have been hearing a lot about automatic driving cars. Google has one, Amazon has one, and then almost every top tech and automotive companies are building one. Somehow the visionaries have already been working on this since 1999. Toyota was the first one to bring out V2V communication capable car. And VW plans to bring out the first V2V equipped model in 2019.
To equip the cars with V2V communication capability is one thing. If one can really rely on that, in terms of data transmission robustness, error handling, data congestion is another subject. A generated simulation model might not be sufficient to include all the on road scenario. Therefore a real track with 5G connectivity is not a bad idea to add some human irrational factors into the data to adjust the simulation model.
